PHOTOSHOOT OVERVIEW
Your mission is to display delicious and eye-pleasing pictures that make people eager to order food on Toast's platform.
Please read and follow these guidelines wisely, and make sure to:
- Highlight the restaurant
- Make the dishes appear delicious
EQUIPMENT
Full frame or APS-C
General settings:
ISO 400 max
35-90mm (full frame)

LIGHTING
- Natural & soft light from left or right - Artificial lights can be used if access to natural light is impossible - Avoid strong shadows and backlight
- No complicated pattern - If the restaurant's table is glossy, use a wood or marble background - The background and dishes must be clean of dust and scrum - The light must be the same on all pictures
Single Dish
Single dish pictures are composed of a single main dish shot at 90° (45° for burgers, sushis, drinks ...)
Quantity
Refer to the OCUS Platform for the quantity.
Capture Instructions
- Horizontal format
- Anticipate 16:9 crop
- Dish must be shot as sharp as possible
- We must see the ingredients clearly
- The photo should show what the dish looks like as closely as possible
- Ask for the names of the dishes, you will need it when you name your files
- Option: creatively add cloth napkins and small props next to the dish
