Product Photoshoots for foodpanda Merchants
V 1.0 - 2021.12.02

foodpanda merchant is a restaurant supply chain, created for foodpanda's partner restaurants who serve our clients ordering food in their everyday life. Now easy ordering is not only anymore for foodies at home, but our restaurant owners or chefs can order the ingredients like raw meat, vegetables, packaging materials from our Merchant platform.
Our mission is to provide a platform for our restaurants where they can order all the things their restaurants can need, offering a great variety of quality products at a good price.
SCHEDULING
If you are scheduling for the first time and are not sure of the correct process, please follow the instructions here to ensure that you follow the correct protocol with the business owner.
By accepting this assignment, you will be representing OCUS in the eyes of our client. We count on you to demonstrate a high level of professionalism in your coming interactions. If a photoshoot already has an appointment scheduled, please respect this appointment and only assign yourself to the photoshoot if you are available at this time.
Assignments are not all the same. Please go to OCUS platform and verify the imagery you need to deliver.
DELIVERY
When and how to upload my images
Your priority is capturing excellent photos. To ensure consistency, OCUS is handling the post-production internally. Please respect the following requirements to make sure that we can deliver the best outcome to our client.
- Don’t edit any of your pictures (no crop, no edit). - Don’t erase your metadata. - Select your best shots and don't send more files than required. - Follow the naming convention below (take some notes during the photoshoot to keep all the needed information).
NAMING
Product pictures : product_name.jpg Hero shot : Hero.jpg Product list may be available as attachment or link in your dashboard comments. If you don't find the list, your contact On-Site will provide you the items to photoshoot. If any product have non-Roman characters (ex: Hungarian, ...) in their name, please keep it. Do not use roman characters if so.
- Please make sure you upload your media in the correct category. - Don’t forget to validate your assignment after uploading your files. /!\ Send your pictures the same day than the photoshoot before midnight. /!\ Keep your RAW files until your mission is validated.
PHOTOSHOOT OVERVIEW
The goal of your collaboration is to provide professional content that will be used for their web communication.
⭐️ Your mission is to showcase all of the shop products on foodpanda's platform when people order. Please read and follow these guidelines wisely, and make sure to:
-Highlight the shop.
-Make the products appear as they are sold.
PACKAGES Check your mission dashboard or your OCUS email notifications for package details on your mission. This tells you the number of products you are required to capture (1 photo per product). We recommend that you take a few more pictures than what's mentioned on your mission, in order to secure your work and avoid reshooting (hold on to the additional pictures till your mission is validated 100% successfully). However, DO NOT upload them to your mission. KEY POINTS 1. Amount of images: Follow the products list to determine the items that need to be shot. 1 photo per product (SKU) must be shot (front) + one product composition. 2. Respect composition constraints, center the items: Photo should not contain additional items that are not included in the products list and will not be delivered to the customer (like props). 3. Background: Pure white background. 4. Lighting: External lighting + softbox (mini studio). 5. Angle: flat view angle (0°) or Top view angle (90°) will work the best for most of the product. We understand unexpected situations can arise in each shoot, so please use your best judgement and add a comment when you upload to let us know any challenge you may have faced during your photoshoot.
The list below is a recap of all the photos that have to be taken during your photoshoot.
